We're the moms who wish this club didn't need to exist.

Moms Beyond The Hit is a peer community for parents whose children were hurt playing school sports — and who found themselves without real recourse, and without anyone who truly understood.

Our story

It began with one hit we never saw coming.

During a basketball game, a boy was hit hard. He was concussed badly enough that he didn't remember driving home. What followed were blood clots, a partial loss of vision, and a long recovery that reshaped his family's life.

His mom spent hours she didn't have driving to appointments, time off work she couldn't afford, and nights wondering what more she could have done. When it came time to ask for help, the answer was a waiver signed at the start of the season — and a door that closed.

Moms Beyond The Hit is the outlet she needed and the community she couldn't find. It's for every parent who has ever felt invisible after their child got hurt on the field.

Our mission

To make sure no parent carries a child's sports injury alone.

We do that by offering honest conversation, plain-language resources, and the kind of company that only comes from someone who's been there.

What we believe

Our values

Every feeling is allowed

Anger, grief, guilt, exhaustion — you don't have to tidy them up here. This is a place to be honest.

Clarity over jargon

Waivers, liability, insurance, IEPs — we translate the confusing parts into words that make sense.

No one is on their own

Connection is the whole point. We introduce parents to parents and keep showing up for each other.
